Banking and Finance

Dr. Parivodic leads the banking and finance practice. He served on the Board of directors of Vojvodjanska Banka (then subsidiary of National Bank of Greece) from 2007-2019. In this capacity, he participated in most important management decisions, restructurings, transactions and litigations of a major bank. Dr. Parivodić served from 2006-2007 as minister of finance of the Republic of Serbia which gives him a unique perspective in resolving all possible challenges related to all matters in banking and finance.  

Dr. Parivodić drafted and defended in Parliament the Serbian Mortgage law (2005) which for the first time introduced: 

• Mortgages on construction permits and construction sites which enabled project financing
• Mortgaging of non-registered buildings 
• Transferability of construction permits
• Out-of-court sales of mortgaged properties which led to the largest construction boom which ensued following the enactment of this Law.
